Natasha Áine,

Director & Founder of the Goddess Healing Grove

“Today you can find me waking up slow, talking to my plants and feeding my beloved animals. I like to spend my time going on long walks by the Grand River, making music, being in ceremony, and grooving on the ecstatic dance floor! I am on a Journey to Joy, healing one cup of tea, one dance, one ceremony at a time.”

ABOUT

Natasha is Mi’kmaq from Elsipogtog (el-see-buk-tuck) First Nation (meaning River of Fire), French Acadian, Irish, Austrian, and Nordic. Natasha is the Founder and Director of The Goddess Healing Grove, which focuses on Earth based healing practices, heavily directed and influenced by Natasha’s study and journey as a Reiki Master, Drum Carrier, and Irish Priestess. Natasha is currently on what she calls her “Journey to Joy”, as she redefines her life living alongside cancer, according to what brings her joy. Her connection to Mother Earth, the Goddess, Great Spirit, and Creator, have provided some of the most spiritual experiences of her life and continue to inspire healing within herself and her communities.

HOLDING SPACE

Natasha holds a commanding space, one that functions on the willing vulnerability of each person attending her circle, class, or workshop. This vulnerability comes at the exchange of compassion and a sincere desire to get to know you and connect - to build relationship. You could say that Natasha has been studying relationship in many forms since she was quite wee. And, from this familiar friend - that what she warmly refers to as her intuition - Natasha can feel the resonance of a room, a yoga pose, a song, an illness, a symbol.

Movement

Natasha works within a specific niche of Mindful Embodied Movement, directed through an energetic lens. In this approach, you will use your physical body in shape to access your emotional and spiritual experience, directing you towards a whole-istic practice. You will leave session feeling more contained and grounded, deepening your inner connectedness through Self exploration and inquiry.

Intuitive HEALING

To begin Natasha closes her eyes, as her hands come together at her heart, and her prayers begin to flow beyond space and time. What directs Natasha is her channel, something that has come to communicate through psychic feeling, seeing, knowing, and hearing.

As a Reiki Master and Ceremonialist, Natasha works with energy and experience beyond the constrains of time and space. Our bodies hold the story, and thus, the healing comes through our biography and then our biology.

Natasha may work with Plant Spirits, offering them to your body as medicine or her shell to burn as aromatherapy and offerings to the wind. She may also play her black bear drum or crystal bowls, singing medicine songs and offering rhythms and melodies that will soothe your soul and rest your body.
